C & J Electrical was established in 2005 when the founder Cliff Drewery decided he wanted a change of scenery and took the leap to go it alone. Cliff has overall 45 years of experience within the electrical and telecommunications system industry and has worked in installation and maintenance throughout his career. Cliff always endeavours to ensure that the employees and himself have the correct qualifications and training required to carry out any job with efficiency, he also maintains equipment to ensure high standards are maintained.
After completing his training, Cliff started as a self-employed electrical contractor and worked independently until his son James Drewery finished school and joined him with an apprenticeship in electrical engineering and has worked with him till present.
James Drewery completed his apprenticeship, where he gained his Level 3 electrical engineering qualification and continued to gain qualifications in:
AM2
Level 3 in electrical installation inspection, testing, certification and reporting.
Design, commission and inspect fire alarm systems and emergency lighting programs.
James has also become a NAPIT member of their competent person scheme. They assess the company to ensure they are operating correctly, that their qualifications are up-to-date, and that the correct test equipment is calibrated and working efficiently.
